Change Maker Programme - Our Stories

Short documentary film about Simone Amorim, a brazilian immigrant living in London. It is part of "Our Stories", a series of three films narrating stories of migration of Brazilian women in London, as part of the Change Maker programme, created and developed by Latin American Women's Aid, for Latin American Women to meet, learn and grow together. Baytree’s Spark Girls Talk Mental Health

This film was created in collaboration with the Spark Girls. Spark is a young women's personal development programme for girls aged 15 to 20, part of the Baytree Centre in Brixton. As part of a year long leadership and social action project, the Spark Girls, wanted to create this film to raise awareness about mental health in young people in their community and create a sense of solidarity and connectedness. They asked a group of young people aged 11 to 16 to anonymously share their experiences with mental health.

Mina Theatre - We Still Fight in the Dark (Teaser)

Video created for Mina Theatre, a London-based project that uses theatre to support minoritised migrant women in the UK to overcome obstacles. 'We Still Fight in the Dark' is a creative collaboration on the experience of gender-based violence suffered by Brazilian women in London.

Latin American Women’s Aid - The Power of Our Ancestors

Performance of Latin American Women at the Tate Modern as part of the Change Maker Programme offered by Latin American Women's Aid. 50+ fantastic women took part, celebrating their identity with pride, exploring the Latin American diaspora in the UK, while bringing down barriers and borders in politically and emotionally charged performances, based on the traditions of communitarian feminism.
